Dedicated to making theatre a memorable experience for all concerned and reaching out to those who maybe don’t see theatre for them or don’t have the opportunity to visit, Mangled Yarn approached us to use the club as a rehearsal space prior to their Christmas performance of Holmes for the holidays in Copenhagen in December.

Started in 2016 and supported by Arts Council funding since 2020 along with National Lottery funding they aim to:

Bring the classics back to life and original stories to new audiences, using: Comedy, Live music, Puppetry, Technology, Audience interaction and a whole host of other theatrical techniques and unexpected tricks.

Besides the company rehearsing at Marchamley Community Club there will be plenty of opportunity for everyone to be involved.

On offer will be free tickets to see the show before the company goes to Copenhagen, along with various community activities such as yoga, craft sessions, chat and movie nights. All aimed at bringing the community together in the run up to Christmas.
